This is a museum quality reproduction of a Camarasaurus grandis tooth from the Jurassic Period (Morrison Formation), Witherell Quarry, Moffat County, Colorado. Certain fossils are just too costly and some are one-of-a-kind specimens that can only be viewed at museums. This fossil reproduction is an exact copy, cast in resin. The replica tooth measures 142mm x 36mm. This replica tooth displays a finely preserved wear edge on the tip of the tooth showing where it rubbed against the tooth from the lower jaw.
