This is a licensed museum quality reproduction of an Euparkeria skull. The original specimen came from the Early Triassic Period of South Africa. This fossil reproduction is the right side cast of the skull taken directly from the actual fossil itself. The replica skull measures 81mm long x 38mm high. The Thecodontians include the ancestors of the crocodiles and dinosaurs and Euparkeria in particular seems to be close to the origins of both lines.
