This is a museum quality reproduction of the small flying reptile Pterodactylus antiguus. This particular specimen was the first Pterodactylus ever discovered (1800's). The original fossil came from the Jurassic Period of the famous Solnhofen beds in Germany. This fossil reproduction is an exact copy, cast directly from the actual fossil itself and can be found displayed in many museums around the world. The replica reptile measures 210mm x 150mm.
